Mary Ann Teders has been a pioneer in the male-dominated field of finance.  She has been a tax consultant for 23 years and has taught various courses relating to taxation.  In 1987 she founded her own tax and bookkeeping business, Teders Bookkeeping & Tax Service, Inc., with 17 bookkeeping accounts and 40 tax returns prepared that year.  With an abiding commitment to women she has sought out or trained other women in the field of finance.  Today the business consists of a staff of 12 professionals who preparing over 1400 tax returns and servicing almost 300 bookkeeping and payroll accounts.  Mary Ann Teders hires staff and serves clients regardless of race or creed.

Mary Ann Teders has long been involved in the community.  She is or has served as Chairperson of the Finance Committee for St. Joseph's Church in Upland, Finance Committee of the Ontario Museum of History and Art, Member of the Corporate 2000 Council of San Antonio Hospital, and Treasurer for a California Assembly candidate's campaign.

Mary Ann Teders is a member of many professional organizations including: The National Association of Enrolled Agents, National Society of Tax Professionals, and Accreditation Council for Accounting and Taxation.  She has served as Treasurer of the National Association of Women Business Owners and was awarded the Woman of the Year Award for that organization.  She was also recognized as Member of the Year for the Inland Society of Tax Consultants.

Mary Ann attended Bellevue College with specialized tax training at Stanford, Mount San Antonio College, and H & R Block.  She lives in northern Nevada with her husband.  They have two grown children and have two grandchildren.
